About My Canine Expertise
My name is Therese Brorsson and I'm a certified canine physiotherapist and rehabilitation therapist. I work with injury prevention and rehabilitation of injured dogs through in-depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement.
I hold certifications in massage, electrotherapy, and laser treatments.
I use treatment methods such as massage, stretching, electrotherapy, and rehabilitation exercises.
What does a consultation look like?
I have the possibility to receive you in my home in El Padrón, but I prefer to treat the dog in it's home environment. This often creates better conditions for a calm and relaxed dog.
We begin with a verbal consultation where you tell me about any medical history or if you have noticed anything that deviates from the normal. I then proceed with a movement analysis to identify any irregularities in the dog’s movement pattern. After that, I perform a physical examination of the dog.
The dog’s treatment is then planned based on what I have observed during the visual and physical assessment.
It is important to remember that your dog does not need to have any problems or abnormalities to benefit from treatment. Dogs use their bodies daily and develop muscle tension and stiffness just like we humans do.
Preventive care is always preferable.
